Over the Nov 2nd weekend Red, White, Black & Blue 3 premiered in Chicago around the All Blacks vs USA Eagles rugby match at Soldier Field. Ziegler Bank sponsored two shows at the Gene Siskel Theater to an eclectic crowd of over 250 people. The films were followed by Q & A sessions with two of the films stars, 16 year old Nia Toliver and Bowdoin freshmen Leodes Van Buren Jr. RWBB3 also screened in the chapel of the amazing Chicago Hope Academy, another inner city school with a successful rugby program. Leodes and Nia were invited to the United States Rugby Football Foundations Lost Lunch the day before the rugby match. Nia and Leodes wowed the crowd of 550 rugby enthusiasts and celebrities with poignant speeches. Nia spoke about her two equally important goals; Rio Olympics Summer 2016, Freshman at a great college Fall 2016. Leodes talked about how finding rugby in the 6th grade was instrumental for his preparation, acceptance and success at Bowdoin College. We watched the All Blacks demolish the USA 74-6 from a luxury box, courtesy of George Hook, the MC of the Lost Lunch. George is a radio and television celebrity from Ireland with a sharp sense of humor. After hearing Nia and Leodes speak at the lunch he invited us to his box. One team won dream. Stuart
