Over the last couple of months Ive witnessed several issues of people not giving credit where credit is due. Granted there ARE some situations where thats not possible, such as magazine submissions. However, when images are just posted to your own Facebook profile, or Twitter account, or even your personal web page if you take things seriously enough for that, you should do your best to credit people as much as possible! In speaking with other photographers I hear stories about models not even thanking the photographer for actually delivering images. It DOES NOT matter of you end up not liking the images. Another human being took time, often for free, to try to make some good photos with you. Sometimes it doesnt work out so great and the photos are no good. It can happen to anyone. But its still just polite and respectful to thank them. Respect people. We all deserve it. Models AND photographers, AND make up artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, whoever. Unless someone is being serious d-bag, just respect everyone as best you can. Credit people at every opportunity!
