Over the last few months some 13,000 indigenous Munduruku have been protesting against the Brazilian governments plans to build a series of hydroelectric dams that would flood part of their land on the upper reaches of the Tapajós River. This land is considered sacred and the river is key to their way of life. Like and share if you agree that the Amazon and its people should not suffer to satisfy electricity-hungry sectors.
