Over the past couple of years, one way Ive been called to serve is through the ministry of Habitat for Humanity St. Francois County. I am Blessed to be part of such a wonderful program for low income families. I have witnessed families learning, sharing, working, and enjoying building a new home for themselves. Without HFHSFC, these families would never know what it is to own their home. HFHSFC has been serving St Francois County since 1998, and is presently finishing the 20th house, and beginning the 21st house very soon! Today, we had the unfortunate task of foreclosing on a property no longer occupied by family members who originally contracted with HFHSFC. This being said, I would like to thank Linda Dickerson, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of St Francois County for her diligence through out this long process and her hard work on all aspects. And for the physical labor in unbearable conditions today, that was managed both professionally and responsibly.
