Over the years weve been lucky enough to see the artwork you guys draw, the covers that you guys do of our songs, and your original music you post. We have long thought, and are comfortable enough to say it out loud; The Fall of Troy fans are some of the most talented fans in the world. And we got an idea. When we set out with the idea to do everything DIY, we knew that there was going to be some hurdles in our future. Thanks to you guys those hurdles have come at us few and far between. I know that some of you buying tickets online are upset about the service charges, and so are we. But them hurtles doe. Thankfully were lucky enough to be working with a venue like Showbox, who dug through all sorts paperwork so we could sell some tickets at face value (I.E. The VIP passes). Still, we want to give you more. So we began to scratch our heads, and decided that we are going to take the DIY aspect a little bit further. Starting in Austin and continuing into the foreseeable future, we are going to keep all shows local to the cities/states we play. All the bands are going to be local band; fans like you. All of our merch is going to be designed and printed by local artists; fans like you. We are not doing this to cut corners; we will be paying you for the designs we use, for your printing, for your band to open up for us. We think that it is paramount, while we are in your town, we should support you and your local businesses.
