Overdose at mcds. Arrive to see family doing cpr on this unresponsive kid. Got his o2 sats up w the assist of an oral airway (amazing what that thing does) and he started to breathe somewhat. Pulse came back. Lost it 2xs in 2mins. established an IV pushed the narcan maintained his sats enough to where I think, if he has any brain damage, its minimal.. Cyanotic/ dead 3xs to alert feeling great and wanting to go home. I wish this kids family, who initiated the cpr prior to arrival, videod this. Another 10mins or less w out any help he would not have come back. A few mins or less hed be brain dead. And the reality of it, he has no plans to stop. Gret run for my partner and I, sad reality for some.
