~Owl Girl~ Chapter 9: CHANGE OF SCHEDULE!? “Hey, do you know where the mess hall is?” Francis asked “Sure, you can meet some of my friends and some puppy love.” I lead them towards the mess hall and went to our table “Hey guys, we have newcomers.” I introduced them to my friends and Leo and Alvina. I sat beside Zack and Lara and she sat beside Francis “Hey you know one time Francis said ‘Where did you put my glasses!?’ when he was actually holdi—““oh shut up, you always hide my glasses!” Francis cut her off. Francis was just cupping his hand on his cheek and smiling at Rubie. Then Lizzie came over and said there was a change of schedule we were going to take the quest TOMORROW just to make us feel better. I told Lara about me and Zack’s campout and Zack told Francis stuff that I didn’t really listen too “That’s really sweet, hey wanna campout? I meant like all of us? In tents? Probably the one behind your Cabin.” She grinned. “Sure, that’s actually a great idea!” I told the rest her Idea and they all nodded in agreement. I told the twins we had to train first but then they said they pretty much knew how to fight. We were planning campout in my cabin. I decided to pair with Lara and Francis wanted to pair with Zack. Rubie didn’t have a pair so we decided for her to join me and Lara than Reyna with Megan. I talked to Lara “So where did you live?” I asked Lara “New York, it’s hardly ever quiet there.” she said. “Oh, how’s it living with Francis?” I asked her “Um, I love him like a sister but I act like I hate him because I’m his sister?” she laughed “I think that really makes sense.” I laughed too, then Francis shouted “ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME?” we laughed some more to annoy him. And he looked annoyed but yet kept on talking with Zack. And Francis just kept on staring at Rubie and Rubie was playing with a rose pretending it was a girl in a red gown. Lara and I played with Leo and Alvina until afternoon. We took a rest lying down in my bed was Lara and Rubie. “I think Francis likes you” I told Rubie “He can’t stop staring dreamily at you” “Shut up, no one ever liked me back in Manhattan anyway the popular kids were liked, I was nice ,but nice people sometimes hardly get credit.” It looked like she wanted to cry back in memory. Her eyes filled up with tears, but she looked away so no one could see her, but Francis did he came over and said “Is there something wrong?” he asked her. “No I’m fine France.” She said “It’s fine, now go back to Zack.” He didn’t budge “I’m not leaving until I make you smile.” He said making silly faces and told her how Lara hid his glasses and snuck up on him to hide his books then put the glasses back on the dresser and ran away. Then Rubie was laughing until she shed happy tears Francis turned and went to Zack since he said he’ll leave if he made her laugh or smile. “Wait don’t go!” She said grabbing his wrist he turned and grinned at her…
