O’ Malley Central High School in Llewellyn Massachusetts had been under the control of the Dark Magistrate for the past year and a half. The Magistrate was a rogue political faction made up of former Dungeons and Dragons players and fans of the Harry Potter book series. Their aim had been to reorganize the social structure of Llewellyn’s school system and make it into an imitation of that found in the Harry Potter or Twilight fictional universes. Essentially, the schools had literally become Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Forks High School. All students were required to dress in black, wear bondage pants and to write self-deprecating poetry in diaries. Martha and Stephen hated it there. They just wanted a normal school life with pep rallies and clear divisions between the outcasts and the popular kids. Ever since the Magistrate’s mandate, nobody could really tell who was a true Hot Topic shopper and who was just reluctantly adhering to the school’s new dress code. -From a story tentatively titled Blacker than the Blackest Tears
