*** PA Steam Pro Indoor Football Tryouts *** --- NEXT WEEK!!! --- READING, PA – The Pennsylvania Steam will hold open tryouts at the Santander Arena (formerly Sovereign Center) in Reading. The Steam will open training camp in mid-late February and start the 2014 X-League Indoor Football season in March. The open tryouts will be held November 15th at 10:00 a.m. and are open to players ages 18 years and older. Doors will open for registration at 9:00a.m. Players will be assessed by members of the Steam coaching and management staffs, including head coach Shane Houser. “We are building the roster from the ground up, and have many open roster spots, this is a chance for players to perform in front of coaches, and management.” said Houser. The registration fee for each player who attends open tryouts is $75.00 if pre-paid by November 15th, or $100.00 (cash only) on November 15th, the day of the tryout. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis; so register early. All players must submit a tryout application to the Steam office.
