PAGLA GHODHA Philosophical Drama is the first performing group in sikkim established by the passout students of the National School of Drama, Sikkim Theater Training Centre. on behalf of the Sikkimese Kalakar, i Am going to copy from DRISHYAM :This will be a platform for the people to explore their creativity & experiment with the rich culture of this beautiful hilly terrain of Sikkim. The aim of this theatre group is to promote & preserve the rich culture of sikkim, and also generate the employment opportunities for the young generation. As the name speaks for itself that the theatre group has a vision which will cater the educational institute with the better knowledge of theatre, spread social awareness on social issues and organizing theatre workshop specially In the remote areas of the state.This will also be a platform for the literature and music too. Being a Sikkimese,I salute all the Artist (kalakar) which u people were done fabulous job in each n every corner, where drama indeed.God bless you all the Theatre Group.
