PAID GOP INTERNSHIP: Paid Internship (6/17/2013) A conservative member of House GOP leadership is seeking applicants for a paid summer internship this fall. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Member and staff with data management, researching legislative issues, attending hearings, and conducting Capitol tours. In addition the applicant can expect to work one-on-one with the Member to complete special projects related to the Member’s leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently. Full time availability and a commitment to serve from August 12th to December 20th are required.
