PALESTINE & PAKISTAN Malala Yousafzai, the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize winner from Pakistan, gave $50,000 to Gaza (Palestine) to help rebuild schools destroyed by Israel in its invasion of Gaza in July & August 2014. According to United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the Israel - Gaza conflict destroyed or partially destroyed 83 schools. commondreams.org/news/2014/10/30/nobel-laureate-malala-donates-50000-gaza Often, children displaced by war, conflict, violence, drought, natural disasters, are not helped with education when they sit wasting away in refugee camps or temporary shelter.
