PANAMA CANAL NEWS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ---The UF Libraries are organizing, together with the Friends of the Panama Canal Museum Collection, a Panama Canal centennial celebration for August 15-17, 2014. There will be a series of exhibits, not only in Smathers Library and Library West, but also in the Health Sciences Library (on public health during the construction period), the Marston Science Library (on canal engineering), and so on. The program for the centennial weekend involves not only history, but music and art, as well.
