PANTANG. What a stupid Chinese pantang? OTC ( Otak Tak Centre ). My friend confided in me that he is in a dilemma. His mother in law who was staying with him for the past 19 years passed away. His wife who is very attached to the mother wants the tablet to be place in his house for 100 days. The deceased sons do not object as they are now Christians and do not want the mother tablet in their houses. After 100 days, the tablet will be moved to Xioa Ern centre in Nilai. My friend own father and mother disallow their son to put it in his house as they told him they HAVENT DIE YET. SO they disallow him to bring back the mother in law tablet. I told him to follow his own decision as it is a show of respect and filial to the mother in law. Please comment if you are an expert in Chinese Pantang. I TOLD HIM DO WHAT YOUR HEART TELL YOU AND NOT LISTEN TO YOUR OWN FATHER AND MOTHER PANTANG. THE MOTHER AND FATHER SHALL BE PROUD THAT THEIR SON DID A GOOD THING FOR HIS MOTHER IN LAW. STUPID PANTANG PARENTS.
