It was as Adolf Hitler’s speech was in the Reichstag on July 13, 1934, i.e., Obama made NO mention of our Constitution and claimed his “authority” trumps Congress. In fact, Obama is doing exactly as Hitler did, with actions boldly telling us that he is a dictator. When Hitler set aside Germany’s Weimar Constitution and took absolute power, (i.e., “the supreme judge of the German people,” as he put it in his speech in the Reichstag on July 13, 1934), he had over 1,000 of his political opponents arrested and murdered, and thousands of others imprisoned in what is called “The Night of the Long Knives.“ Germans call it the “Röhm-Putsch,” the term given by the Nazi regime despite its unproven implication that the purge was to prevent a “pending coup”. Hitler claimed that his “Röhm-Putsch” was a preemptive strike, but in fact the blood purge was his coup to change the nation into a one party authoritarian state with himself as the “Fuhrer”.
