PAY IT FORWARD Respond to a person’s kindness to oneself by being kind to someone else: I will take the support I have had and try to pay it forward whenever I can” Parachute stuntman, Army Airborne Ranger & Coach Jim Slaton was nearly killed with his wife on their motorcycle in downtown Houston recently. A young uninsured motorist failed to give right of way pulling right out in front of them. There was no time to slow down or avoid impact with the car. Pay it Forward... gfwd.at/1oF0Pv6 On impact, Jim & his wife Brandi flipped over the front of the car and down the street onto the concrete. They were both wearing safety helmets and other gear but still received many injuries requiring emergency surgeries. On impact, Jim broke both feet which required surgery to place metal titanium plates on the top of his left foot. Brandi broke her left femur, knee & toes which required surgery to insert a metal titanium rod inside her femur bone. But it gets worse. So if a motorist is uninsured and they do not have the cash on hand to pay any court ordered settlement to the victims then the injured have little recourse.
