PCG celebrates 113th Founding Anniversary Manila- the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), the agency bestowed with substantial responsibilities as a multi-mission maritime agency tasked to promote safety of life and property at sea, protect the marine environment, enforce maritime laws and conduct maritime security operations will celebrate its 113th Founding Anniversary. The said event which will be held at the PCG Headquarters in South Harbor, Manila will be graced by His Excellency President Benigno Simeon Aquino III as the guest of honor and speaker. One of the highlights of the said event is the conferment of awards to deserving Coast Guard officers and personnel as well as civilian entities that have rendered commendable and brilliant services in the conduct of various PCG-related activities and missions. The event will also be witnessing the presentation of the agency’s newly acquired assets and other equipment.
