PD Day - BUS TRIP TO BIODOME - October 10th Hello friends in the greater Ottawa area. Want an incredible experience for your little ones on PD Days? I am SUPER EXCITED to announce that we are now doing zoo tours as PD camps from our Ottawa zoo. The first PD Day of the year is October 10th and we will be going to the incredible Biodome in Montreal. I am especially excited as I will personally be stepping away from my normal duties and attending these trips with the campers. It will be awesome to introduce the kids to some of my professional fellows at these institutions and I can assure you I will get us some very privileged views of these institutions. The agenda for the Biodome; SCHEDULE: October 10th - The bus is scheduled to leave the zoo, at 5305 Bank St, at 9:00 am and return 5:00 pm. For this first trip you can drop the kids off as early as 7:00 am and pick them up as late as 6:00 pm. COST: $50 for members of our Jr Herpetologist Club, $54 for zoo members and $60 for the general public. The cost is inclusive of the bus, pre and post care, and admission to the Biodome. Attendees will need to provide their own snacks and lunches. STAFFING: We will have 1 staff member for every 10 attendees plus 2 parents or associate volunteers from the zoo. AGE: The camp will be open to children ages 7 to 15 without a guardian. We did trips like these years ago and they were soooo much. We are super happy and very excited to be offering them again. This will be an amazing experience for me personally and the kids.
