PEARL OF SURAT UL-KAHF: GEOLOGICAL TAFSIR OF THE QURAN: 1 When the heaven is split asunder 2 And attentive to her Lord in fear, 3 And when the earth is spread out 4 And hath cast out all that was in her, and is empty ( سورة الانشقاق , Al-Inshiqaq, Chapter #84, Verse #1-4) Quran. We already know that when the sun dies it will swell past its usual size bringing heat strong enough to vaporize the atmosphere and melt the surface of the earth. The problem lies in the 4th verse. What inside the earth is strong enough to cause such an upwelling as to send the contents of the inside of the earth to the surface. Here our precious Surat ul-Kahf provides solution: Or some morning the water thereof will be lost in the earth so that thou canst not make search for it. ( سورة الكهف , Al-Kahf, Chapter #18, Verse #41) Quran. There must be a plentiful amount of water in gaseous form pushing up on the more solid layers of the earth, prevented from escaping. When the sun dies and those solid layers become liquid all that vaporous water is going to have a free ride to the surface, taking whatever is down there with it. As a side note, having so much water down under the earth in the molten layers of the planet vindicates that account of the flood of Noah, peace upon him. For the dilemma is how to source such a massive amount of water as to cover the entire planet. (Thus it was) till, when Our commandment came to pass and the oven gushed forth water, We said: Load therein two of every kind, a pair (the male and female), and thy household, save him against whom the word hath gone forth already, and those who believe. And but a few were they who believed with him. ( سورة هود , Hud, Chapter #11, Verse #40) Quran.
