PEDOPHILE of worse ALERT Suspicious Subject **White male with gray/white hair in white van.** The Battle Creek Police Dept. would like to make the public aware of several complaints in which an unknown subject attempted contact with female children out walking. The subject is described as an older white male with white or gray hair possibly wearing glasses driving a white van. Some witnesses advised that he would approach them in his vehicle and ask them to come over to his vehicle while others stated he just drove by slowly watching them. These incidents have occured in the area of Wentworth and Capital, Prarieview schools, and on D Avenue in Springfield. On atleast two occasions the female witnesses were on their way to school. The Battle Creek Police Dept. is still investigating these incidents.
