PEI & NS: Happy Friday!!! There are a few clouds across PEI while in NS most areas have overcast skies but there are a few which have a mix of sun and cloud. In PEI temperatures range from 3°c in Kensington to 10°c in Tignish while in NS the temperatures range from 5°c in Amherst to 12°c in Canso. PEI: You will see mainly sunny skies today. This evening the skies will be clear but will change to partly cloudy overnight. The winds will be from the east around 20kms/hr. Temperatures will be around 17°c today and overnight temperatures will be around 9°c. NS: Along the Atlantic coast you will see mainly cloudy skies with drizzle and showers developing that will last into the overnight hours. Inland in the valley and along the northern shore we will see a mix of sun and cloud today. This evening we will see mainly cloudy skies with drizzle and /or showers developing. Cape Breton will see a mix of sun and cloud today and a few clouds tonight. Winds will be from the northeast around 20kms/hr gusting to 40kms/hr. Temperatures will range from 15°c to 19°c and tonight temperatures will range from 8°c to 13°c overnight. It is overcast here in Lantz this morning. The current temperature in my backyard is 8.8°c.
