PERRERA UPDATE El Paraiso is not closing for August Spanish holidays...so big thumbs up to them yet again...with so many other perreras closing their doors I am again having to sing their praises as one of the few pounds that appear to have the dogs interests at heart. Also I need to retract a concern I posted previously about 2 dogs that I presumed had been put to sleep...1 has re appeared and the other I am told was adopted...although I secretly questioned it in my head as he had been there a very long time...I cannot see why only 1 small dog would have been pts...so I need to right this wrong...and think it was my paranoia...I did do a huge facebook push on the little black dog...so hopefully I raised awareness to his plight enough that someone unknown to me adopted him...so I am satisfied that all is well and they are keeping their word to me that they will let me know if things get dangerous...we are keeping the numbers manageable..and Andrea said she saw at least 8 or 9 adopted whilst she was there the other day...so maybe my early morning visits miss a lot of the bust times...thumbs up for El Paraiso once again...things are continually improving in my local perrera...for the sake of the dogs...I thank them xxxx
