PERRY STONE & HEBREW ROOTS The quickest way to be deceived and have no clue on what’s going on in prophecy is to listen to Perry Stone. But why, watchman? He’s been a preacher since a child. He studied the Hebrew Rabbinical scholars and knows science – God shows him things! No, his god shows him things, and they’re lies. Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. You don’t have to be smart to follow Jesus – He’ll give you His wisdom, not just man’s wisdom. There’s a difference. So what’s wrong with Perry Stone? Perry Stone’s book “Breaking the Code of the Feasts,” states… “If you are familiar with our weekly telecasts you’re aware of the emphasis of our teaching and preaching ministry is 3-fold, to win people to Christ and help them grow in the grace of God with a right now prophetic word, help discern the times and seasons, and to teach believers the Hebraic roots of their faith. First off – if God wants to give you a prophetic word – he’ll send you to scripture where the prophecies are. Perry’s making that “right now prophetic word” up. It’s not in scriptures. And the worst… teaching believers the Hebraic roots – it’s not what you think as just a history lesson – he’s going to try to get you to do the works of the law. The video posted below on Sid Roth’s: Its Supernatural – Perry says it’s totally impossible to understand prophecy if you do not study the Hebraic roots, rabbis, and scribes – the rabbinical scholars. LIAR! He’s basically telling you to close your bibles and seek out other sources. And the heretic Jim Staley feeds the same lie as he states (paraphrase) that if you observe the festivals and holy days – a portal is opened. You’ll hear the same vomit spewed by Sid Roth quote in this video – “an amazing portal to heaven is opened when you celebrate the feasts. God’s glory comes upon you, angels can come up and down.” – FIND THAT IN SCRIPTURE that all this happens because you celebrate the feasts? His authority for saying that is “many people are finding out…” He’s abandoned scripture for the “many people” as his guides. Remind you of the itching ears verse in scripture? Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Only Jesus can open something such as the feasts or anything to heaven, and only Jesus can closeth. The Holy Spirit came on Pentecost – to establish the church. Pentecost was a good day to come on because the mass migration of Jews from all over coming to the feast in Jerusalem. Now they could see the Spirit of God in action and be preached the good news. But God made it impossible to follow the feasts when the Temple of Solomon was destroyed in A.D. 70 – and that was no coincidence. So Hebrew roots will throw this scripture our there – maligned as always: Acts 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. Paul was keeping this feast, notice he says “I,” and not “you all should” or something. He was going to the feast in Jerusalem because it was fertile ground to preach the gospel because many lost Jews came from all over to celebrate the feasts. When Jesus returns again, he will open the door for them to be held again for celebration. But now it was shut shortly after Paul died – and Paul loved to go, not to honor the feast as a requirement of law – but to preach the gospel of the good news to the lost. If God wanted the feasts to continue, He would have preserved the temple. Satan has his hands in this. You can read on your own in Galatians 3 where Paul reproved those trying to bring these customs into the gentiles who knew nothing of the law. Galatians 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. Four things there… Fourth kingdom. There’s a prophecy from God. Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: That means don’t let these Hebrew roots teachers tell you that you have to observe anything from the law. Numbers 9:12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it. So the Passover was an ordinance… Jesus fulfilled that ordinance. Ephesians 2:15, KJV, Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace. . NOW THE RABBINCAL HEBREW TEACHERS PERRY LISTENS TO… Let’s see what Jesus has to say about those scribes and teachers of Jewish customs laws, and traditions… I’ll pick a few – go read Matthew 23 to see what Jesus thinks of these “rabbis.” Matthew 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on mens shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. Perry can’t keep the feasts, because the temple in Jerusalem is gone. Perry’s not Jewish, either as this verse below describes him... Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Matthew 23:6-8 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. Sounds a lot like these guys, doesn’t it in the verses above? Matthew 23: 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Those teaching these things that say they will get a blessing from God if you follow them-- they’re not going to heaven. You cannot go back under the law, or there is no redemption by Jesus left. Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Few Gentiles want to be under the Hebrew law, but when one pipes up like Perry Stone, they’re coming to proselytize him. He has countless interviews with Hebraic scholars, Jewish scribes, and any rabbi – most are not even Messianic Jews, either. Matthew 23:19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? Pretty strong words from the Savior there – they think they know – and they’re blind and fools. Matthew 23:27-28 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead mens bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Jesus made it clear to stay away from these scholars and law breeders. You have grace, why go under the law? Jesus warns you to stay away from these guys and learn from His Holy Spirit – not Perry Stone and the rabbinical scholars he so proudly admits to learning under. They’re serpents. Not saying all Messianic Jews are corrupt, I know a few who love the real Lord Jesus. But these Hebrew Roots guys are coming into churches now trying to woo people with their Hebrew wisdom of the Old Testament – and a lot of it is mere Jewish tradition and not even in the Old Testament. Get away from the Hebrew Roots and Sacred name people – and definitely stay away from Perry Stone & Sid Barf – I mean Sid Roth - -he’s secretly, whether willingly knowing or not – leading Christians back under the law. You don’t need to study Jewish history to understand scripture – the Holy Spirit will “teach us all things.” Watch this sensational garbage below and see how deceived Perry and Sid is yourself.
