Parents have fought back in recent months against the movement to allow transgender students to use whichever restroom facilities they deem appropriate. Perhaps these opponents predicted an incident similar to what happened at one Colorado high school. According to information provided by the Pacific Justice Institute, which is taking action against the school in question, administrators allowed a male student to continually enter the girls’ restroom and make inappropriate comments and gestures toward females therein. When multiple girls complained, school officials reportedly indicated that the boy — who is a self-identified transgender — has every right to engage in his predatory activity. Furthermore, a number of the complainants were reportedly told they would be dismissed from extracurricular activities or even face hate crime charges if they did not keep their concerns quiet.
