PESHAWAR: Police have prepared the initial report of the Sarband suicide bombing which claimed nine lives.According to the report, the target of the suicide bomber was the Sub-Inspector of the police check post. At the time of the attack an accomplice of the bomber was close by. The bomber had four mortar shells strapped to his body.The report states that the head of the suicide bomber could not be found but investigators were able to obtain samples of his legs and other body parts. These samples will be sent for DNA testing on Monday.Meanwhile, Geo News has received CCTV video of the bombing. The video shows the armoured vehicle being targeted. Chaos broke out in the crowded market after the bombing.Ahrar-ul-Hind a splinter group which brokeaway from the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for Friday’s attacks in Peshawar and Quetta. The TTP disassociated itself from these attacks with spokesman Shahidullah Shahid stating that the outlawed group was adhering to the ceasefire.
