PETER AND THE STORM IN A PRAISE. Matthew 14:22-33 My beloved beautiful people, the life youre leading is a life meant to praise GOD everyday. I tell you without doubt that GOD will be praised in our lives be it that we want it or not. Situation arises at times simply because GOD is seeking his praise. He is GOD and He deserves our praise every time and times. He is so used to receiving praise from the angels that surrounds His thrown in heaven. David, the King understood this delicate nature of GOD and explored it to his benefit always; I tell you that none of us today has committed half of Davids misdeeds yet he found favour before GOD, even while he was praising GOD his wife stumbled in his act of praising GOD. King David knew the true meaning of praising GOD, he understood that being alive was not by his own making but was a gift from GOD, I have never faced a mountain lion or a bear but David faced these two ferocious animals and killed them, he confronted the Philistines champion Goliath and defeated him in the face of strong odds stacked against him by his brethren and King Saul, who pursued and chased him through out the land of Israel for many years before he was made King over the house of Judah and then the entire nation of Israel, in him is a man who knew what the cost of his life and understood that praising GOD always was the only gift he could offer to this wonderful, merciful and most gracious GOD. In Matthew 14, Jesus wanted to revealed to the disciples who he really was, is and is to come but they had a strong heart unyielding to him. The feeding of the 5000 men wasnt even enough to change their minds; and their lack of the knowledge of who Jesus is obstruct his praise in them. They didnt fully conceive him as the true messiah though he was living with them. He took time to test them individually, Phillip with the feeding of the 5000, and Peter too. We must understand that if we as men would not praise GOD, nature will raise and begin to offer him praise; No man had ever walked upon the face of the waters ever and none has after peter took a few steps over it to join Jesus. Like I said nature, the firmaments, trees, cloud and water will raise up to offer praise unto the lord. How happy and excited was the sea of Galilee to have her creator walking over her; this was a once in a life time opportunity for the sea of Galilee, the house of Israel didnt recognize her lord sent to deliver her but the sea of Galilee saw and was happy to have her lord walk on her, the bible informed us in Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Here, comes the Lord walking over the sea of Galilee, in the excitement of the sea, she raised up her storm in celebration and praise unto the lord. If you will not praise GOD in your life, the storms in your life might raise up to offer praise will you wait till the storm has raise up before you begin to offer praise?, dont wait till such a time because GOD will have his praise in your life be that you want or not. Peter was cause in this praise but the lord held him so that he didnt sink because of his doubt, my friend I will praise GOD everyday of my life for as long as I have breath I will not wait till theres a storm in my life before I began to praise him, I will praise him till the storms in my life begins to sing his praise and pave way for my higher glory. What about you my friends?????? Have a wonderful day out there raising a praise storm to celebrate the LORD of GLORY.
