Most of the time they exist on fumes, juggling things to help out just one more. But eventually they will reach a point where they cant. Because they dont have foster carers to temporarily welcome a poundie into their home, as the rescue sets about finding their forever. Each rescue operates differently. Do some research - there is a rescue out there that will suit your circumstances, and they will welcome you with open arms.
