PHC #21 - Jaymie Mar ~Neo What am I going to do? Jaymie said, pacing the office. Draco sighed, Youre doing it again. What were we thinking? I know what I was thinking. Draco said with a smirk. Jaymie stopped midstride and looked at Draco. This is serious! She said, My entire seven year academic reputation has been flawless. Now its going to be smudged because of you. Draco leaned his chair back. A.) You were there too. B.) Are you sure youre a Gryffindor? You sound like a Ravenclaw when you talk about your academic reputation. And C.) What we were doing isnt exactly on the curriculum, so I doubt it will smudge your record. The window you were against, maybe. Would you shut up? Jaymie said as the door opened. Professors McGonagall and Snape walked in, followed by Professor Dumbledore. Jaymies stomach turned to ice. Professors- Dumbledore silenced her with a raise of his hand. I am to understand that nearly an hour ago, the two of you were seen... canoodling by no less than 25 students, 3 professors and one very shell shocked pigeon. He looked at them over the top of his half moon specs. This transpired because an unlucky first year happened to glance up and see the strange sight of one body with four arms pressed against the girls lavatory window on the fourth floor. He then proceeded to question an understandably irate Professor Sprout. He glanced at Jaymie before turning to Draco. Mr. Malfoy, explain, if you will. Dracos chair dropped with a thud. He looked Dumbledore straight in the eyes and said Just trying to show some interhouse love, professor. Dumbledore smiled. Choose a less public place next time. What? Excuse me? Are you serious? Snape, McGonagall and Jaymie all looked at Dumbledore in disbelief as he strode toward the door. Young love is a beautiful thing. He said, opening the door. Just remember, beauty is in the eye of the pigeon beholding it. Dumbledore out! He shut the door with a finality as the rest of the room gawked behind him.
