PHILIPPINES TROPICAL STORM: A tropical storm, locally known as Seniang, swept through southern Philippines on Monday, December 29. Sustained winds reached 65 km/h with gusts of up to 80 km/h near the storm’s centre northeast of Butuan City or east of Cabadbaran City, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration. The typhoon was forecast to move west-northwest at 11 km/h as of 11 am on December 29. This footage shows flooding on the Tagoloan river.
