#PHX : #AZ vs #RyanReed and #AllisonClement in the #Murder of 2yr old #SavannahCross TODAYS HEARING: Regarding the Defense motion to Remand Back to Grand Jury - the prosecution has 15 days from Sept 29th to respond to the Defense (Reed) motion to Remand Back to the Grand Jury. Defense then gets a chance to file a reply. The argument for this motion has not yet been scheduled. The defense is allowed to request a court order that Prosecution takes a case back to Grand Jury even if they will just go back and get the same charges. It is a procedural right of a defendant. I (Cathy) am told that in the long run it will have no effect on the case. Today, the case was officially declared complex and the trial date of November was vacated. No trial is currently scheduled. The minute entry from this hearing should be up and online by Tuesday at superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/docket/CriminalCourtCases/index.asp
