PLANNING MY TRIP The last trip I took I had to pack so many things that I would need; First I had to have my car serviced that it could withstand the elements I had to go Through, the heat and cold and every bumpy road can run a car down that It might not make it all the way if not checked thoroughly. Next I must have clothes that agree with the weather, maybe some light weight and some heavy weight just in case the weather changes and catch me unaware that leaves me cold or very warm, and very uncomfortable. One thing for sure I must have enough money for gas, food and lodging; don’t want to forget money for entertainment along the way. One thing I must have is my map to make sure I do not take the wrong road and wind up in in buck two. Oh yes, for sure my cell phone; cannot go anywhere without that, gotta have someone to talk to along the way. Hope I did not forget anything like boarding the cat and turning the a.c. off; and locking the doors, o Lord what would I do if I forgot these things. Well, we made it to our destination, visiting all our friends and relatives; sure had a good time; well except for my nephew and wife had a little fight that caused a split on both sides of the family. Did not get to go to church while there because, you know, we don’t get to see our kin too often and sure did not want to hurt their feelings by going to church. Nearly ran out of money because one entertainment after another and you know how my wife spends; hope I have enough left to pay my tithes. We made it back home and everything looked just fine; set the thermostat, picked up the cat after unlocking all the doors, you know how great the thievery is around here. Home sweet home, nothing like it. About our tithes; we pay that first, all we have was given to us by the Lord to start with, and He blesses us that much more when we put Him first. Now I am planning my next trip. First of all it doesn’t matter about the clothes because we are furnished a new robe of white, never been worn; our old robe was spotted, Tattered and torn; filthy, but He washes it white as snow. Do not have to worry about transportation, JESUS has paid it all in His blood . The weather in that great city is perfect all the time, no maps needed either because Jesus is the way and the light. Need no cell phone, we will be so enthused with our reward we will not think about talking to anyone, but in awe of all He has prepared for us. He spread the table of all righteousness; and the main course is love that we received to share with one another through His blood that all men could have eternal life with Him through His Word. We do not have to watch our words that come out of our mouths because they have been cleansed by the blood of the lamb, and no trash is allowed there on the streets of gold that cannot be stolen because the foundation is built on the apostle doctrine in which Jesus Christ is the foundation.
