PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE Thank you so much to those who have donated to Charlottes medical care. We are anxiously awaiting a call from our vet as to Charlottes recovery plan and prognosis. Charlotte arrived yesterday after a series of neglectful situations. The family that raised her, had one last litter out of her, and then gave her away for free online. Charlotte has likely never been seen by a vet. She has been kept outside by the family that took her, and they were not going to bring her inside even over the cold winter ahead. When Charlotte arrived she was covered in fleas, calluses from sleeping on the hard concrete day after day, had multiple puncture wounds and hair loss that we are told was from a coyote attack, as well as a large heavy painful tumor dragging down almost to the ground and swaying when she walks. Our volunteers immediately loaded 200 pound Charlotte into their car, and rushed her to the vet. True to her breed, giant Charlotte was nothing but pleasant through the entire afternoon, wearily wagging her tail and walking to our volunteers excitedly when they grabbed her leash. We cannot wait for Charlotte to go to a warm soft bed in her foster home, recover, and find the forever family that she deserves.
