PLEASE MEET STARK (formerly known as Ammo)……..We are all very sad to have Stark back into rescue again, he was re homed to a great home with a great owner who very much loves him, but due to landlord issues and now lack of a secure area for him it was no longer safe for Stark to stay, so please no negative comments. Sometimes handing a dog into rescue is a hard thing to do, and should be admired for the owner putting the dogs needs first. STARK is a 2 yr old neutered male Czech wolfdog, born January 2013, he is a big lad with stunning looks. He is micro chipped, up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. He is house and crate trained, he knows basic commands, recall is good but again typical wolfdog recall he will come back once he has sniffed that blade of grass or rolled in that fox poo. He has high energy levels and loves to play with other dogs, he is very loyal and affectionate and loves his cuddles and belly rubs. He will bark/howl when visitors knock at the door, then is fine and wants fuss when they are invited in. He does suffer from separation anxiety and can be destructive when left, he can also pull on lead due to initial excitement but soon settles in nicely, he has been walked on long line too. We are looking for a very loving home, preferably someone who is around most of the day for him, has another large breed dog for him to play with, a very secure garden, he is great with children but due to his size and energy older children would be better.
