PLEASE, PLEASE, PRAY! I felt impressed to share this with praying friends. I cannot imagine this pain! Here is an excerpt from Rachel Hallmark’s letter in Caring Bridge. Rachel, a heart-broken mother, is speaking about her dying son and is asking for prayer. Four years ago, when Ethan was only nine, he got the news about his disease. Since then, he has touched a nation with his testimony for Jesus. He has been absolutely amazing! From Rachel; “It is with the most excruciating, unimaginable agony I write this post. Our precious sons abdomen has exploded with tumors. There are too many to count. Ethan has weeks to live. His doctor feels six weeks would be the maximum, but could be much sooner based on tumors invading crucial areas. Instead of starting chemo as planned yesterday, we took our son home. There will be no therapy, no more earthly options. We will meet today and put our son on hospice. “Please pray and cry out often for Ethan as he processes this deep sorrow. Pray for his two brothers and sister as they watch their adored big brother decline so rapidly. We discussed everything with our children last night. The conversation was nothing less than excruciating. Pray for Matt and me as we walk our son as far as we can into eternity.
