PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE AN EDUCATOR, or know one...I bet this will bless somebody: Today in the cafeteria at school I was doing what I do best, running my mouth (IKR, who knew). I come in, put my stuff down and walk away (like always)...25 minutes into my conversation I notice my phone is missing...my heart dropped..not about a cell phone, we live in a time where if you are smart, and own an expensive phone, you have insurance. If anyone knows me material things mean nothing to me, and besides some say I lose everything anyway so it wouldnt be wise for me to become attached to things...lol..However, the reason my heart dropped is because this would change the rules for me and my students. In all the years I have taught, I have never had my students take from me. Even if I havent taught them, somehow I have managed to build a relationship with them, and well that is just something I dont expect the to do. Now, before you doubters jump on here and say child please, kids will take from everybody ..if you noticed what I said...I dont expect them to and from my experience kids tend to do exactly that, what you expect. Well, we still had to deal with the fact my phone was missing, and even questioning them broke my heart. The room was quiet, and as time progressed my voice became elevated (hard to believe I know)...just about the time I was about to go to another place, a student eased up and said Mrs. Bell, Coach Turner is hiding your phone, and anyway, you should know, aint nobody gonna take your stuff...My heart was overjoyed...not about a stupid phone...hear me...I get to keep my relationship as is with my students and that to me means a whole world more then a phone....I LOVE MY KIDS...and I dont ever expect them to hurt me. I hope they dont ever expect me to hurt them.. well, unless they forget to do my homework..;) MOOD: try love..it is the cure for everything....
