PLEASE READ THIS & HELP ME. I found this LUDWIG FACTORY ERROR (?) drum on CraigsList today for $60. If people who read this could please take a look at the pictures and ofer some info on the drum and its approximate value, thatd be great. Its a 14 floor tom that measures 13 deep, has 10 lugs on top & 10 on bottom, no damper, and the badge is 3 from the bottom of the shell & upside down. My first thoughts were that it was a concert drum or marching snare converted to a floor tom, but there are NO EXTRA HOLES, and the bottom bearing edge appears factory w/ no snare bed. Also, the grommet holding the badge to the drum is original. I noticed it has nuts to tighten to the floor tom legs in place as opposed to wingnuts too. Having all of this in mind, I took it to my local drum shop where they were not only amazed, but convinced it was all original, period correct, and just figured the badge placement was some sort of factory mishap. What do you guys think?
