PLEASE READ. We are in the process of recruiting volunteers to assist with the launch and ongoing operation of Health Care Volunteers International. In the lead up to incorporation, HCVI has already initiated major projects globally. The first ever hospital in the Masai Mara region of Kenya is under development as well as a major partnership with the Cambodian Ministry of Health. Our daughter organization, Blood Donor International, has been active in Equatorial Guinea since 2010. No matter what your background, if you have an interest and desire, there is a role you can play (marketing, website development, fundraising, accounting, project management, grant writing, research, field work, patient care… the list goes on). There will be a reception this coming Thursday - June 20, from 7:00 pm until 11:00 at Josephine located at 1008 Vermont Ave., NW, Washington, DC. There will be food and beverages provided and the founder, Frank Duggan, M.D. will give a brief presentation starting at 8:30 pm. This is not a fundraiser but rather a reception to introduce Health Care Volunteers International to individuals who are interested in becoming involved with the organization.
