PLEASE REMEMBER THE DEACON’S FUND It has been traditional at First Presbyterian to combine our celebration of Communion with a special offering to the Deacons’ Fund or a designated offering to the Deacons’ Food Pantry. The work of the Deacons depends entirely on the congregation’s support of this special offering and an occasional fundraiser. The care of those members who are no longer able to attend church, the Prayer Pager Ministry and many other activities are supported by the Deacons’ Fund. The Food Pantry serves many local residents in need of help with their groceries. Stop by the church Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., observe the activity of the Food Pantry and GIVE GENEROUSLY to the Deacons’ offering on each Communion Sunday.
