PLEASE SHARE - URGENT NEED - The American Red Cross urgently needs your help this summer to ensure blood donations keep ahead of supplies being distributed to area hospitals. There remains an urgent need for platelet donors, as well as donors with types O negative, B negative and A negative blood. The summer is historically one of the most difficult times of year for blood and platelet donations. The middle and end of July mark the halfway point to the challenging summer months. While many donors are still enjoying summer activities, patients are unable to take a vacation from needing lifesaving transfusions.
