PLEASE SHARE ! My poor grandad took his 54 plate ford C-max for its M.O.T late last week to J&B autos, 6 grove avenue, beeston... The car failed its mot on its emissions, he was told that there were problems with the pistons, that there was no oil in the engine, along with various other issues, and therefore needing a new/reconditioned engine... Hes been worried all weekend, considered scrapping it for £200, going into an isa to pay and have the work done, along with many of other thoughts... We arranged for him to take his car to Chilwell M.O.T Centre, they tested the car and found none of the issues above, all he was advised on was that the rear brake pads were running low... If anyone is in the area, needing any mechanical work doing, please avoid this garage and their appalling, disgusting service...
