We need your support to help get the Bill H.R. 4201 (The Servicemember Family Protection Act) Passed in the Senate & House passed and then signed by the president. The bill was introduced Mar 16, 2012 and was passed by the house multiple times on different occasions. This Bill will due 2 things: a) If a judge orders temporary custody based on military deployment, then at the end of deployment the previous custody order must be reinstated, unless the court finds that this is not in the best interest of the child. b) Deployment or Time of Service may NOT be a factor in deciding on the child’s best interest in setting or modifying custody rights.
