Sorry for the off topic post, but I have the MTHFR gene defect (and so does about 30-40% of the population) which means that folic acid is toxic to me, and I NEED Methyl Folate. People who have the MTHFR gene defect, and who do not supplement with Methyl Folate experience a lot of health issues - many of them can be severe, even life threatening. I know that people will ask about the MTHFR gene defect and how to get tested for it. You will have to do your own homework. I went to my doctor and requested the test, then had to pay out of pocket for it.
