PLEASE be careful while out. We have mountain lions here too (yes, I realize people think I am crazy when I say that, but we do) - They have been seen in Vacaville and out at Pena Adobe. SO, if you hike (trails or not) local - be on the look out. This happened in Daylight, with 9 other people super close by. They go for prey - which means children and dogs are more at risk. There are sites where you can learn what to do if you encounter a mountain lion. Please learn, and be aware. I am so thankful that boy is going to be ok, and pray for their families peace in the crazy situation. That would be quite an ordeal to go through.
