PMIT if somebody is interested or share this info please: Design College is looking for part-time lecturers for • MULTIMEDIA DESIGN and FASHION MARKETING Modules: 1) Advanced Interactive Media Design (Multimedia design) Module Aims: Students will explore more complex conceptual and technical process of creating both web-based and CD-Rom-based interactive Multimedia programs, working with several Multimedia Authoring Software. Students will apply principles of Interaction Design into more challenging interactive media design projects, reinforcing and expanding the skills acquired in the Interactive Media Design course. Expected Learning Outcomes: At the end of the module, the student is expected to be able to: 1. Programme with given authoring software tools for interactivities with the aim of developing a non-linear interactive environment 2. Demonstrate advanced applications of interactive multimedia authoring tools 3. Explore the potential power and creativity to create video and animation effects by combining effects and tools in AfterEffects with Flash. 4. Apply from conceptualization to execution, game scripting and game creation workflow 5. Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills to tackle complex scripting issues 2) New Media and Interactive Environments (Multimedia design) Subject Purpose: The aim of this subject is to investigate the possibilities of producing interactive spatial and temporal digital works using the skills and knowledge gained throughout the course. Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this subject, learners will be able to: 1. Research, analyse, organise and present visual and text based information 2. Use multimedia based outcomes to enhance or generate interactive spaces 3. Explore and experiment with new media devices, technologies and techniques 4. Create digital, multimedia work which has either spatial or temporal qualities 5. Apply design methodologies and approaches from other design disciplines such as fashion, interior, product design and digital or time-based art Content: New Media And Interactive Environments will encourage students to extend their multimedia knowledge and practice to include time based, spatial and instillation work. Utilising new and emerging approaches to digital art and design, students will apply their multimedia skills to less conventional applications. In addition to this, students will experience and incorporate a range of design methodologies and approaches from a range of other design disciplines including fashion, interior and product design. • FASHION MARKETING 1) Market and Design on the Web (Fashion marketing) Module Aims: To provide participants with the knowledge and skills through practical exercises, lectures, demonstrations and examples to enable them to understand web design by working towards integrating all elements to create a website for a mid-sized company. Students will understand the goals and strategies for creating a website as well as organizing information and navigation. Functionality of a website will be explored. Students will have to successfully complete practical exercises and an integrated project in order to complete the module. Expected learning outcomes: At the end of the module, the students is expected to be able to: 1. Analyse the goals and strategies needed for creating a website 2. Demonstrate design, production, integration of stated elements and features and maintenance of a website for a given market 3. Illustrate awareness to the principles of interaction design, orientation, navigation and functionality of a website 4. Demonstrate skills in style, layout, colour theory and palettes, image format and compressions 5. Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the creation, addition of objects to and processing of forms and fields 6. Illustrate knowledge of Alpha, Beta, multi-browser and end-testing, META information and uploads 7.
