PNG LNG Project, Papua New Guinea. deugro, founded in 1924, recently completed one of the most complex and challenging projects undertaken in the companies recent history. In 2010 deugro was awarded a major EPC contract led by an international joint venture, well known in the Oil & Gas industry, to deliver plant and equipment to the PNG LNG Hides Gas Conditioning Plant in Papua New Guinea. deugro was tasked to manage and ship in excess of 3,000 purchase orders from worldwide origins into PNG. One of the unique scopes included an airbridge and interface management, loading and unloading of 88 x AN124 flights ex Port Moresby Jacksons airport to the remote Komo airport, located in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. The contract also included the delivery of the equipment packages (using deugros own heavy haulage equipment) ex Komo to the Hides Gas Conditioning Plant. Truly remote, truly complex!
