POLICE HEADQUARTERS JAMMU AND KASHMIR SRINAGAR (Establishment Section) Subject: Recruitment of Prosecuting Officers in J&K Police Reference:- i) PHQ Advertisement Notice issued under endorsement No.Estt/Pros-12/2012,/61457-610 dated 29.12.2012 read with Estt/Pros-12/2012/26326-403 , dated 11.06.2013. ii) Govt order No.Home-195(P) of 2013 dated 22.05.2013 ADDENDUM WHEREAS, 49 posts of Prosecuting Officers (POs) were notified for recruitment in J&K Police vide PHQ Advertisement Notice issued under endorsement No. Estt/Pros-12/2012/61457-610 dated 29.12.2012 read with Estt/Pros-12/2012/26326-403 dated-11.06.2013; WHEREAS, vide Government order No.Home-277 of 2013 dated 10.07.2013, 49 Prosecuting Officers (PQs) have been placed as I/C Senior Prosecuting Officers which have resulted in availability of equal number of vacancies at the level of PCs i.e. 49 in addition to already notified 49 vacancies thus making in all 98 vacancies; Therefore, in partial modification to PHQ advertisement notice dated 29.12.2012, 49 more vacancies taking the total number of vacancies as 98 are hereby notified for me recruitment of Prosecuting Officers in J&K Police as per the following Category-wise break-up: Accordingly, desirous candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as notified by PHQ vide above referred to notices can apply against the aforesaid vacancies in respective collection centers upto August 31, 2013. There shall be, however, no change in other conditions which shall be the same as laid down in the earlier Advertisement Notices.
