POLICE NEWS: RETAIL THEFT – 1/6/14 – BonTon Men’s Store reported retail theft of a Polo Ralph Lauren multi-colored knit wool cap, two Polo down jackets and two Polo down vests totaling $1,065. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - 1/5/15 – Police responded to Pocos on N. Main Street for report of vehicle keyed in parking lot on 1/2/15 during the evening hours. CRIMINAL TRESPASS – 1/5/15 – Bryne Sewing, Butler Avenue, reported someone entered the outdoor display case during the overnight hours. The display case items were moved around but nothing was missing. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 1/5/15 – Victim reported theft from vehicle parked in lot on Butler Avenue during the overnight hours. Taken was a black and white purse with two gift cards inside. ROBBERY – 1/4/15 – Police responded to Stephanie’s on Main Street for report of robbery and physical altercation. Austin Allen, 22, Doylestown, allegedly ripped a wristlet from victim’s arm while on the dancefloor. Allen then allegedly attempted to hand the wristlet to Tyler Allen, 21, Doylestown. Austin Allen was arrested and charged Robbery, Theft, Simple Assault and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery; arraigned, bail set at $5,000, 10% and remanded to Bucks County Prison. Tyler Allen was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery; arraigned, bail set at $5,000 unsecured and released. THEFT FROM VEHICLE - 1/4/15 – Victim reported theft from vehicle parked in lot on Union Street sometime between 12/26/14 and 1/4/15. Taken were Guess wallet, $50 cash, MP3 phone adapter and loose change. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1/1/15 – A 15-yr old male juvenile was charged with Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct after allegedly breaking a window at Starbucks. PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 1/1/15 - Samuel Ixtos Tzoc, 22, Doylestown, was charged with PD when police observed Tzoc stagger and fall on W. State Street. Tzoc was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical assistance. PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 1/1/15 – Manuel Ixmata, 25, Doylestown, was charged with PD when police observed Ixmata sleeping on the frozen ground between Broad Street and Garden Alley. Ixmata was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical assistance. SIMPLE ASSAULT - 12/30/14 – Charges were filed against John Fogarty, 25, Dublin, from a physical altercation that took place at Printer’s Alley on 11/27/14. Subject was not at the scene when police arrived. Upon investigation, Fogarty was identified and charged with Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment.
