POLICE REBRAND BY ATTENDING EQUALLY TO WANAINCHI PLIGHT. To a surprise when a police officer in Kajansi was shot dead by mobile money thieves at Gaz petrol station; it took less than a week to arrest more than 5 people involved in that robbery. I wonder are some criminal smarter that it can take year to arrest them or they may not be traced by Police. Since Police is mandated among others to keep law and order; its my since request that attentions to criminality should equally be attended to. But if some cases culprits are left to escort free the public is left with no option apart from taking laws into their hands. Many Ugandans are victims of land grabbing; defilement; rape; harrassment name it. But when they report to police some times masterminders align with corrupt and irresponsible Police officers to have thair way out. Forexample the brutal murder of a businessman Wilberforce Wamala has todate been muzzled with some highly profiled officials likes of Mr. Kaweesi who block investigations. Suspects like Hassan who accepted involvement in the murder is strangled in a Police cell in Muyenga; a driver left to escort free and many misery surrounding the murder. Endorsement of Community Police by Artist as recently unveiled by Gen. Keyihura will less be attended to when Police officials twist cases or make files disappear when they deem it fit. Equal response to wanainchi plight will galvanise Police with wanainchi to better service delivery. Nonetheless double standards by Police officers will always leave wanainchi never to have trust in Police.
