POSITION TITLE: FOREIGN CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOLOGICAL, NUCLEAR, HIGH-YIELD EXPLOSIVES (CBRNE) EXERCISE PLANNER CUSTOMER: DoD Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Fort Belvoir, VA CONTRACTOR: URS Corp TIMING: Immediate hire, Full time position STATEMENT OF WORK EXTRACT: Provide support to design, develop, plan, coordinate, facilitate, and execute, as well as conduct follow-on actions (e.g., prepare after action, trip and lessons learned reports) for all facets of foreign consequence management training and exercise events. The range of events includes classroom and field training, TTX, to full-scale exercises. Events cover a range of scenarios and can be expected to include US (DoD and interagency), coalition, and partner nation forces designed to improve US and international capabilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide advisory and assistance services (A&AS) support to the DTRA J3 Building Partner Capacity Department, Exercises Division. - Support the design, development, planning, coordination, facilitating, and execution, as well as conducting follow-on actions (e.g., prepare after-action, trip and lessons-learned reports), for all facets of CBRNE foreign consequence management training and exercise events. - Support CBRNE training and exercise events covering a range of scenarios to include US (DoD and interagency), coalition, and partner nation forces designed to improve US and international capabilities. Events include classroom and field training, tabletop (TTX) to full-scale exercises. - Perform other duties as assigned in support of the DTRA J3 Building Partner Capacitys Exercise Division mission. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree. - 15-20 years DoD military experience. - Top Secret clearance with ability to get Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) access. - Minimum 3-5 years CBRNE-related exercise design, planning, coordination and execution, e.g., foreign consequence management, counterproliferation, non-proliferation. - Experience in joint, combined, interagency exercises and in security cooperation exercises. - Strong written communication and oral presentation skills. - Experience in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Travel required (up to 40%).
