POWER RELEASES POTENTIALS And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. - Matt 4:24 Thought for today When the anointing comes on you, it will release what has been lying fallow inside you. Potentials are released by the anointing. Whatever you carry that has been hidden and unknown by men comes out when the oil comes on you. You carry many deposits of Divine treasures in you but it has not come out because the anointing has not yet come on you. When the anointing comes on you, it will release whatever has been lying fallow inside you. Jesus had a healing ministry bottled up in His Spirit but it never came out. For thirty years, He saw the blind and deaf but He couldnt heal them, until the day the heavens opened and the anointing came upon Him, then He began to heal the sick. From that moment onward, everything He carried came out. Samuel poured the anointing on the head of Saul, and then he began to prophesy. The potential to prophesy had been lying dormant in him but when the anointing came upon him, it pulled out the prophecy. Everybody (including Saul himself) was amazed (1st Samuel 10:10-13). You have been carrying a deposit of Gods grace but it has not been expressed. But by the Power of the oil, that grace is coming out! By the release of the anointing, an unusual release of supernatural wisdom and Divine ideas are coming out of your spirit! The working of miracles, the gift of healing, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discerning of spirits and the gift of faith, evangelistic, prophetic, teaching, apostolic and business mantles are coming out of you today, in the Name of Jesus. Nobody knew there was water in the rock until the rod of Moses pulled it out. As you are now, you may not know the extent of what you carry. Thirty years ago, I never imagined that I carried the graces that are inside me today. In secondary school, I was too timid to address a crowd but there was a lion inside me that could roar and make the devil shiver and I never knew. May the anointing release your potentials today, in the Name of Jesus. Assignment 1. Identify the grace you want God to manifest in your life. 2. Ask God for open heavens upon your life. Prayer O Lord, let your Power pull out every hidden treasure in my life, in the Name of Jesus.
